Mynarski House

Mynarski House is named after Andrew Charles "Andy" Mynarski VC – a 27-year-old bomber gunner that flew with 419 "Moose" Squadron, during the Second World War. He gave his life attempting to rescue a crew member and was awarded a Victoria Cross posthumously.

Mynarski House is an accommodation building in the heart of Southport. The 32 rooms have a double bed, flat-screen TV, cable, Wifi, mini-fridge, and parking. The building has two two-bedroom units and two suites. Each suite has a kitchenette/lounge with a sink, fridge, and microwave.

A common kitchen area is located on each floor and includes stoves, microwaves, and basic cookware. Common laundry facilities are also available at no charge on each floor. These rooms are also a suitable alternative to a hotel if you are staying in the Portage la Prairie area.

Other amenities available at Southport include the Central Plains RecPlex outdoor running track, ball diamonds, tennis courts, golf course, restaurant, and catering options, and plenty of green space to enjoy
