Multicultural Dance

Exciting news! Morden’s Multicultural Winterfest committee will be hosting a MULTICULTURAL DANCE!

This fun family-friendly event will feature dance leaders and music from around the world! Let’s have fun together and learn new dance styles! This is for the whole community – come as you are, or you can dress in the style of your culture(s).

HMS Perennial Exchange

Mark your calendar! Our annual Perennial Exchange will take place on Saturday, May 27th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Join us for a fun and informative day in Clearwater at the Harvest Moon Learning Centre May 27th.

This event will be followed by Artist Talks given by our Recent Graduate Artists-in-Residence from 2pm-4pm.

Prairie Wind Music Festival

The music festival begins on Friday night with a social and live band – Hicktown. Saturday features a variety of bands from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday morning pancake breakfast with live entertainment.

Come out to the cidery outside Pilot Mound, for the release of all of our reserve and vintage ciders. This event will be the only place to try some of the ciders that we are releasing and have an opportunity to purchase before anyone else.
There will be many ciders for sipping, wood fired pizza, coffee and nature trails. Everything is happening outside and on the farm/ cidery.

Arbor Day

Arbor Day is an annual event that promotes tree planting and appreciation of trees. It was first celebrated in 1872 in Nebraska but has since spread across the country as a way to celebrate nature and promote conservation efforts.

In addition to promoting awareness about planting trees, Arbor Day also encourages people to take part in activities such as tree planting trees, colouring contests or pruning demos The purpose of these events is to emphasize how important it is for everyone to work together toward protecting our environment.

Cypress River Agricultural Fair

The Cypress River Agricultural Fair is July 15 & 16, 2023. Cypress River Society is celebrating its 128th year. We host an indoor fun gymkhana horse show in the arena on Sunday, July 16 that includes a costume class. Indoor exhibits include baking, preserves, sewing & quilts, handicrafts, photography plus rainbow auction draws and Belgian bowling. King Farmer will be held Saturday. A Parade is planned on Sunday 10:00 am and a Bouncy Castle entertainment for the kids.
