Southport Golf Club

The Southport Golf Club, situated in a picturesque country setting at the end of Southport’s airfield, is a fun and challenging 9-hole golf course with a unique layout designed for all levels of play. The golf club also has a licensed, seasonal clubhouse with a pro shop that offers golf lessons, golf club fitting, repairs and regripping. Southport Golf Club also features the only driving range in the region.

Southport Bowl

Southport Bowl is a newly renovated 5 – pin bowling alley located in the Central Plains RecPlex at Southport, just 3 km south of Portage la Prairie. Southport Bowl has an accessible entrance that leads you to 5 lanes of bowling suitable for bowlers of all ages and abilities. Southport Bowl is also equipped for glow bowling. Guests can enjoy pizza, popcorn, snacks, and beverages from Brews + Bites while they bowl.

The leisure pool includes 6-25metre swim lanes, lazy river, tots pool area, zero beach and ramp entry, 212-foot waterslide and 14 person whirlpool.

Splash Island Water Park

It has 3 slides, fountains, geysers, bubbler bench, tots pool, zero-depth entry, lazy river & more!

Winkler Heritage Museum

The museum has a variety of exhibits including early photographs, children’s toys, quilts, furniture, musical instruments, dishes and school items all with some connection to the area’s history.

Winkler Arts & Culture

Winkler Arts and Culture, Inc. is a volunteer organization whose mission is focused on providing opportunities to share art in its various forms while celebrating the culture that brings art alive. Winkler Arts and Culture is dedicated to providing opportunities to teach, share and celebrate artistic and cultural expression, through education, programs and a community space.

Winkler Campground

The Winkler Campground is located at 600 Park Street, within walking distance of the cities downtown and the Winkler Centennial Golf Course.

The campground will open on Friday, May 17 and close on Monday, October 14.

Neubergthal is one of the best-preserved single street Mennonite villages in North America. The village layout and architecture were developed over centuries of Mennonite life in Europe and Russia. Come for a visit, an escorted tour, a self-guided tour.  We also take special requests for other types of tours, rentals, and events.
