Studio Address: 4134 RR1 West, Neubergthal 2 miles south of Altona (Hwy 30), turn east onto Hwy 421 for 3 miles east on 421 to Neubergthal. Turn south into the village and look for the signs. The Herdsman’s House, located one hour south of Winnipeg, just off Hwy75, is a quiet and conducive place to retreat and create. The house is equipped with high speed internet, a fully equipped kitchen, writing desk, good natural light, and accommodations for up to four. The Krahn Barn , also on the property, features a large art studio, concert venue, access to a piano, and an additional guest room with private bathroom facilities. If the Banff Arts Centre is beyond your means or too far away, consider the Herdsman’s House in Neubergthal. We welcome artist of various disciplines, as well as non artists who want to retreat.
