Buffalo Creek Nature Park

During the Spring and Summer season at the nature park come out and enjoy the trails, and the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy a day of cycling or walking along an 8-foot wide asphalt trail. The trail reaches Altona from the south via the rail line trail to Gretna and from the west at the Buffalo Creek Nature Park. This trail is part of the longest multi-use trail in the world – The Trans Canada Trail. Catch and release fishing is a popular activity at the Buffalo Creek Nature Park! In the winter season the pond is cleared for skating, and the hill is great for tobogganing. This is a popular spot for tobogganing in winter as well as pleasure skating on the pond, which is cleared and flooded. The field house makes an ideal warm up spot for changing, restrooms or a hot cup of hot chocolate.

Holland Windmill

Visit Windmill Park Tourist Information Centre in the summer months to learn about the town of Holland, and purchase some souvineers.

Carman Tennis Courts

Tennis anyone?  Carman’s Outdoor Tennis Courts are located in King’s Park, right beside the Carman Campground.  The two courts are fully lighted for nighttime play.

Carman Aquatic Centre

Carman’s Aquatic Centre is located in King’s Park nestled between the Campground, Golf Club, Tennis Courts and Playground.
