Prairie View Elevator Museum
Plum Coulee Prairie View Elevator Museum is a unique venue that has transformed a fading prairie icon into a vibrant centre, promoting culture and preserving the past.
In the past decade, almost all of the wooden grain elevators in the Pembina Valley have disappeared. In 2002, Plum Coulee was very fortunate to procure one of the last elevators constructed in this manner through the generous support of Agricore United. This wooden grain elevator has been transformed into an amazing museum you absolutely have to see! The Prairie View Elevator Museum is a unique and exciting venue that has transformed a fading prairie icon into a vibrant centre preserving the past and promoting education.

Pembina Hills Arts Council
The Pembina Hills Arts Council has its roots in a small group of local artists who came together in 1988 to cooperatively exhibit and sell their works and to create opportunities to highlight the artistic talents of the Pembina Valley region. These early initiatives led to one of the main parts of our mandate which is to foster, support and provide opportunities for artistic professional development to area residents. To that end, our approach has been to focus on developing a strong exhibition program with an emphasis on regional artists; renovating and making improvements to our building to better display exhibited works.
